How many concurrent users can we expect?

As I was looking into the maximum records supported by MySQL 5, it became apparent that the maximum number of concurrent players (threads) we can expect may be the limiting issue for us. Any guess about how many players may be online with Starium XCV at the same time?

In beta, which is what we are looking at mysql for, My guess is not more than 50 to 100.

In Production, the answer would be several thousand. I am thinking around 10,000 players per game, of which 2-3K would be connected at any given time.
