This is Jim Landes, the producer and lead game designer of this project.

There are several forums, this outer "Welcome" forum is designed as a greeting place, a landing page, and for non-team members to post questions on this project while it is in development.

The interior forums (granted access via permission), is only for the various artists, developers and coders to visit.

Hi all, Mordred here from the PoP team. I was senior designer there, doing this and that, and generally telling people that they needed more detail. And then being told by Mason to keep it simple (stupid).

If you guys need me for anything here, feel free to hit me up, if not I will endevour to keep morale and motivation high with my classic British wit...

We appreciate the offer. Mason and I had an earlier exchange about comtemporary British wit in a conversation about Dr. Who. It made me wonder if you may have had some influence regarding her opinion ;-)

I wuoldnt be surprised, however she already seem pretty well informed on the subject, particularly in relation to a number of British comedies, for instance Monty Python.

Not to mention BlackAdder, AbFAb, Fawlty Towers, Jeeves & Wooster, etc. But Mordred's not a wimpy Socialist - like the current Dr. Who, as per our conversation - he's a Tory! Which makes him like unto the Devil incarnate to some members of the PoP 3 Dev Team, whom I won't name!

Hi 999 here hoping that I will be able to put my creative thoughts and art to a use. If anyone has any ideas for monsters or creatures give me your thoughts and Ill try to put them to paper. I'd like to thank everyone here for putting this together, and an extra special thanks to Jim for hunting me down.

Take a look in the forge.. and gain a sense of what we are trying to do. Right now it is a bit slow, but will pick up rapidly when Tim comes back from his vacation.

Hunt me down during office hours and we can talk a bit.. I would like to introduce you to some folks who are working on this. I believe you met Nate.. now I have to track Jennifer down and also Tim when he returns.

I'm back. Rested and tan or as tan as I ever get! Looks like the fun has begun and I'm excited about having 999 help us visually execute the ideas that Mason has started to document. Let's touch base when it is convenient.

I just wanted to post a quick message introducing myself. I'm an old co-worker of Jim's. Believe it or not, we chatted about some of the core ideas of this game over 14 years ago! I saw the project was coming alive and asked if I could be involved. And here I am.

I'm a software developer with lots of experience in the server world, so I hope I can bring some skills to the table for this!

I'm glad you're back in contact with Jim and willing to join the madness. Sending those folders back to Jim was the catalyst for moving forward with Starium XCV. We'll have to fill in the blanks some day over a beer or two.

I was merely holding on to them until such time that Jim could follow his dreams and turn it into reality! When he originally gave them to me, I wasn't sure if I should take them. I actually pulled them out a number of times and skimmed through them, but without Jim's vision, I wasn't able to really execute on the ideas.

Now, that he has been reunited... Magic will commence.

I am a student that had heard of this project from Jim and have decided to see what I could find out of the project's current development. What I have been told of this project shows a lot of promise and I am excited to see how it all turns out.
